A very rare and early hand-coloured impression. A fine impression of the very rare first state, before the reduction of the size of the head of the foetus (this was reduced for the normal editions) and before the additional shading on the Madonnas right arm; with fine hand-coloring in red, blue and pale yellow; printed on firm grey-green paper.
